The consultancy has successfully completed a large number of infrastructure projects around the Gulf Region. They are one of a select group which has been invited to tender for a major road maintenance and rehabilitation project in the Abu Dhabi Region.
Contracts will be for an initial term of one year but may be extended a further twelve months depending on further extension of the contract by the Department of Transport. If successful you will be appointed directly by our client and there could well be other opportunities at the conclusion of this project.
The project staff on this team will work with a Planning, Study, Evaluation, Tender and Work Orders Preparation team under one Project Manager and will compliment each other across all aspects of the project. Positions required for the Site Supervision Team are as follows:
Resident Engineer
Civil Engineering graduate with a minimum of 15 years experience in Roads and Bridges construction and maintenance.
Assistant Resident Engineers (2)
Civil Engineering graduates with a minimum of 10 years experience in Roads and Bridges construction and maintenance.
Material Engineer
Civil Engineering graduate or similar with a minimum of 10 years experience in construction materials and materials testing in roads and bridges projects.
Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineering graduate with a minimum of 8 years experience in electrical engineering associated with roads and bridges.
Quantity Surveyor
Civil Engineering graduate with 5 years experience, or a Diploma qualified person with 10 years experience in QS and contract measurements and setting out on highways or similar works.
Site Inspector
Civil Engineering graduate with a minimum of 3 years experience in site supervision of highways or similar works.
Land Surveyors (3)
Civil Engineering or Surveying graduates with a minimum of 4 years experience in land surveying and setting out for roads and bridges construction.
Material Inspectors (4)
Civil Engineering graduates with at least 3 years experience in a related field.
Laboratory Technicians (2)
University graduates in a related field with at least 3 years experience in Laboratory and field testing in roads and bridges.
Very competitive project rates in the low tax regime of the Gulf Region will be negotiated with the successful appointees and a range other benefits will apply. ".
