The client is one of the significant and most successful design consultancies in the Gulf Region of the United Arab Emirates. The consultancy has been highly successful in a large number of infrastructure projects around the Gulf Region over many years. They are one of a select group who have been invited to tender for a major road maintenance and rehabilitation project in the Abu Dhabi Region.
Contracts will be for an initial term of one year which may be extended a further twelve months depending on further extension of the contract by the Department of Transport. If successful you will be appointed directly by our client and there could well be other opportunities at the conclusion of this project.
The project staff on this team will work with a Site Supervision team under one Project Manager and will compliment each other across all aspects of the project. Positions required are as follows:
Project Manager
Civil Engineering graduate with a minimum of 20 years experience in general roads and bridges maintenance and rehabilitation with significant project management experience on large scale infrastructure projects.
Design Engineer
Civil Engineering graduate with at least 10 years experience in road design. Significant maintenance experience preferred.
Traffic Engineer
Civil Engineering graduate (Masters degree in Traffic Engineering preferred) with a minimum of 10 years experience in operational traffic analysis.
Bridge Engineer
Civil Engineering graduate (Masters Degree) in structure engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience in bridges and structure maintenance.
Planning Engineer
Engineering Graduate with a minimum of 8 years experience in construction engineering and management. (Masters Degree in Construction Management is preferred).

Engineering Graduates with a minimum of 2 years experience using AutoCAD, MS Road or similar in highway design.
Very competitive project rates in the low tax regime of the Gulf Region will be negotiated with the successful appointees and a range other benefits will apply.
