For a BIG FOUR consulting firm expanding its presence in Southern Europe, we are on the lookout for seasoned consulting professionals for developing & delivering business over multiple client engagements

The ideal person would be someone with a flair in Compensation & Benefits with a strong grounding in job evaluation/competency mapping and HR systems.

We are looking at MBAs from premier schools-with about 6-9yrs post qualification experience in a good international consulting firm -with a strong business orientation & ability to develop and present solutions to prospects and clients.

Those with lesser handson experience in compensation,performance management, M&A, setting up HR systems for startups -can be considered for a senior consultant role. The operative term, as my client put it, was 'an intelligent slogger' who is strong analytically, and good on tools and methodologies.

Salaries are exciting-with an additional 20% thrown in as variable pay! Remember, the tax rate in that part of the world is 22%-and so one can imagine a better savings potential!!

GM India- Medical Devices -MNC startup

Earlier this week, we got an enquiry for the hiring of CEO/Country Manager level opening for a
a global startup company with branches in Israel, USA and Europe that develops medical devices for the treatment of Diabetes.

We are looking for a General Manger that will build a business plan for the Indian market in order to establish the company operation in India. He will be responsible for the foundation and growth of India market & be working closely with Doctors and Physicians as well as the regulatory and legal authorities.

The incumbent would have the ability and knowledge and experience in preparing a comprehensive business plan, as well as leading and aligning all the Sales and Marketing planning in India.

The ideal person would have worked several years in the medical industry, preferably in the medical devices arena network-and have basic knowledge of Indian regulatory requirements.

General Manager- OMAN Geotextiles project

This is an assignment being handled by an associate of mine. His client, a reputed group in Oman is setting up a JV- a start up to manufacture polypropylene [not jute] geotextiles project.

The opportunity is for a senior management level person-who is a specialist in polypropylene geotextiles -who shd be rsponsible in setting up a business in the manufacturing industry- and I believe, presently such companies are located in Germany, France and UK.

The General Manager will conceive, build up a Non-Woven textile Plant in Oman. Coordinates all different aspects of the project and is fully responsible to deliver a complete working plant (machinery, building, infrastructure, utilities)

Director -Software for a US Based Startup company in Bangalore

We are presently working on a Director Software –position for an exciting US based startup in Bangalore.

The person-reporting to the CEO –would be responsible for the software development operations in India and execute the organizational strategy & vision for the India site in the areas of futuristic technology, product innovation and development. This is, in addition to, focusing on developing existing products and concepts.

The role involves driving the product timelines and roadmaps; manage software architects, developers and test teams who are responsible for delivering products and tools. The incumbent is expected to drive all of the relevant technology partnerships associated with the product development

The company is in the construction space –and has a web-based project portfolio solutions built on .NET 2.0

Ideal person would be a person from a strong engineering or technology background. Has strong inter- personal and communication skills and the ability to manage a 100 member team. Strong background in enterprise software or Microsoft technologies is a must. Background in Construction, GIS industry verticals and strong project management skills is desirable.
