Earlier this evening, an associate of mine called me up to discuss a very challenging and interesting mandate -that of identifying a Director for a very highly visible MNC organisation for spearheading a new business into India.

The company has been succesfully extending its service offerings-integrated systems, integrated services and integrated applications to have a centralized control of network communication services and resources while planning the infrastructure for intelligent buildings-across the world, and now wish to explore tapping the booming Indian real estate/infrastructure story.

We are looking for essentially topnotch professionals with atleast 15-20yrs experience- in domains like global facility management, infrastructure ( & engineering)management, network and electrical solutions, or those who have provided integrated communications services to the latest airport projects.

The new year is always a good time to take stock -and so here are some of the exciting and HOT opportunities that we are presently working on:

* Leadership positions in a real estate/infrastructure company -funded by Lehman Brothers-positions based in Hyderabad/Visakhapatnam.

*Leadership position in a European Multinational in the Animal Nutrition-setting up a holding company in Chennai.

*Leadership positions in a startup venture -founded by technocrats, and funded by investors like GE and Credit Suisse- for businesses to be operated in power, petrochemical, SEZ, airports and other infrastructure projects in India and the Middle East. * Investment Manager for a Singapore based Asic focussed Logistics REIT. Based in Chennai the person will need to develop business strategies and evaluating business opportunities both locally and in overseas. This will entail pursuing potential investments and asset acquisitions locally and overseas, developing new business set-ups (including build-to-suit arrangements), investing in real estate projects as well as structure and negotiate deals for asset acquisitions.
