I am presently working on an assignment for an international company in the Animal Nutrition business, with over 100 production and processing plants, across 25 countries and employing a fabout ten thousand employees. The company has a good presence across some stages in the food chain.
Looking to set up Indian operations, we are looking at a senior professional to spearhead the India strategy and operations-right from handling production to develop the market for their products in the premixes, feed ingredients and specialty products of the group.
The key expectations of the person would be
· To evaluate the companies product portfolio and to establish a strong focus on core activities.
· To establish and/or develop a strong distribution network and maintain good and functional relations with sister companies, distributors, agents, manufacturers, customers and suppliers, in order to support the growth of the company and sales.
· To develop and maintain good business co-operation with other group operations in order to benefit optimum synergy effects.
