Wanted Professional from Power Projects / Industrial Water Systems@Hyderabad

For a slew of projects for our infrastructure industry clients, we are on the look out for Engineers across different functions/levels and domains.
Positions exist for professionals from 6 to 20yrs experience with experience in Power Projects / Industrial Water Systems -with specific focus on any :
1) Coal handling
2) Rotating equipment
3) Boiler Plant Layout, Detailed Layout drawings of BOP Systems.
4) Circulating Cooling Water, Raw Water Systems
Also required are
a) Electrical Engineers with hands on exp in process design, calculations, equipment sizing, preparation of purchase specifications, technical evaluation of the bids, participation in technical meetings with vendors and clients/consultants, vendor document review/approval and site technical support

b) Mechanical Engineers for
i)Water systems, Fire Protection, HVAC & Misc.BoP systems with good process knowledge, analytical & Communication skills,

ii) Plant Layout, isometrics, selection of supports and hangers, knowledge of stress analysis, preparation of fabrication drawings etc.

iii) Rotating equipment such as pumps (BFP, CEP), Fans (FD, ID, PA) and Power cycle equipment (TG, BOILER and its auxiliaries, feed heaters etc.)
c) Civil /Structural engineers for analysis and design of Steel and RCC structures. Preparation of Technical Specifications and BOQ for Tender purposes.

d) Contract Administrators. Preference will be for professionals with exposure to Claims Management With Customer and Suppliers / Contractors;

Credit Risk Analysts- Commodities-MNC@Delhi

This is a position -which has been open for a while now .

I have this update from my international affiliate -who is front ending the client!

"Ideally candidates will come from commercial banks involved with commodity business. Not candidates with credit risk background with financial institutions. Candidates need to have experience credit reviewing a customer base of mainly nonfinancial institutions"

Also -those with experience reviewing physical commodity trades (not financial commodity trades) in any one or another among grains, petchem, coal and coke and cotton – with a minimum 5 years physical commodity credit risk experience at a commodity trade finance bank/ commodity trading company!

Credit risk Analyst@Delhi-product commodity

Here is a position I have received from an international affiliate!

The role?

  • Analyze and communicate the credit risk exposure under a given transaction and its related contractual agreement
  • Prepare professional counter party reviews for approval by Asia Credit Manager/ Regional Credit Committee 
  • Liaise with commercial staff in India in order to understand their requirements
  • Perform detailed counter party analysis including financial statement analysis and non-qualitative information.
  • Handle India counter party credit requests that may come from other offices in different regions

 The ideal person ?

 

  • Minimum 5 years physical commodity credit risk experience at a commodity trade finance bank or a commodity trading company
  • Credit risk background with one or more of the following products: petrochemicals, grains, cotton, and coal and coke 
  • Experienced in monitoring credit risk exposures, investigating excesses to limits, and communicating credit appetite to commercial staff
  • Self-motivated candidate who does not require a high degree of management
  • Periodic travel to Singapore and Hong Kong will be required.  Travel within India will also be required
  • Ability to handle an often high pressure environment as a result of trade volumes and frequent tight deadlines
  • Strong work ethic required for a non-9am to 5pm work day

Senior Project Manager- Open cast mine in New Zealand

This role encourages the appointee to become involved in a wide range of mining and specific engineering projects within a mining environment. The company is a major player in the coal mining industry in New Zealand and offers very interesting and challenging projects and excellent career progression.

Responsibilities will involve all aspects of project management including development, scope, scheduling and budgets, resourcing, implementing, monitoring and reporting performance. Other issues will include health and safety, setting objectives and KPI’s, developing systems and project planning.

You’ll need a mining engineering or geosciences degree. Your experience thus far in your career should include at least five years in mine planning, mine design and geotechnical engineering. You’ll have an expert understanding of geotechnical engineering issues and understand computerized mine planning and design, project and risk management and you’ll have great communication and leadership skills.

Engineering Geologist for New Zealand

This role arises with one of New Zealand’s premier coal miners in the northern region of the North Island. The company is looking to add to its technical team so as to provide clear interpretations and understanding of the coal reserves in the their North Island underground and open cast operations.

Responsibilities will include assessment of ground conditions, geotechnical risk and the technical feasibility of mine planning, assisting with quarterly and 15 month schedules and maintaining strata management plans through regular forecasting of geological hazards. You will supervise surface and underground geological/geotechnical investigations, provide regular mapping of the seam and develop accurate Vulcan geotechnical databases and models.

You’ll need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geology and a minimum of three years experience as an applied Geologist. Strong computer skills (ideally Vulcan modeling software), a sound working knowledge of geotechnology and excellent communication and report writing skills are required.

COO/CEO for a JV -Coal industry

Our client is a JV that has been instructed by the Government of India -with the Intent of Joint Allocation of Fatehpur East non-coking coal block in the state of Chhattisgarh to 5 IPP’s (Parties ) for captive mining of coal to meet their proportionate share of coal requirements for their power projects.

We are presently on the look out for a COO/CEO for the company.

The person will be responsible for leading the team of professionals in

a) achieving the milestones leading to commencement of mining activity including obtaining mining lease, preparation of geology report , mining plan, business plan, budgeting , financial reporting etc.,

b) Lead the team for proper operation of the mine:

¨ By optimizing mineable quality
¨ Minimizing mining cost
¨ Demonstrate operational leadership from the front to create a cohesive environment
¨ Responsibilities would include handling coal mines division, liaisoning with authorities and execution of coal mines.

The person is likely to be based at Raipur.

Qualifications:

¨ Should have exposure of computer techniques in mine planning
¨ Good track record of experience in mining industry
¨ Should be conversant with all the regulatory issues pertaining to the industry.

Mining professionals in India!

One of our clients -has some urgent requirements of Mining engineers - with about 5-20 years experience in dredging/ exploration - planning activities!
The company has some major interests in Indonesia-and India ( in Orissa & Chattisgarh)-and is looking at some great talent. The professionals would operate from Hyderabad ( for the Indian openings) and Singapore ( for the Indonesian operations) and would be open to travelling at short notices!
